We rented bikes from Bright Angel Coffee Shop at Mather's Point and rode the bikes here, then took the free shuttle bus back. Hermit's rest is a neat old lodge, kids got ice cream here too. Great views!

This is where we rented bicycles (and helmets) and got coffee. We rode our bikes along the rim trail and stopped at a bunch of lookouts. We rode the free shuttle back from Hermit's Rest bc we were kind of tired at the end! There is some decent incline but not bad... FYI, I was told that you can rent electric bikes in Tusayan just outside the park which would be fun. The guy at Bright Angels told me that the park will not let them offer e-bikes.

Nicest place to stay in the park, must book far in advance. They also have a restaurant here- you can make a reservation and enjoy the view.

20 minutes outside the entrance of the Grand Canyon. Awesome glamping experience including stargazing, marshmallow toasting, safari tents, luxurious hotel beds/ linens, onsite dining, unlimited coffee & tea, friendly and helpful staff. We loved this spot because the stargazing was amazing and the food was delicious & healthy. My husband and I had a tent with a king bed and full bathroom- it got really cold at night and we warmed up with a fire with the stove and supplies they provided. Our two kids (teens) slept in an adjacent teepee each with their own twin bed which they thought was fun.

I love an IMAX movie and this one does not disappoint. Kids learned something, too.
