Road trip from DC to New Hampshire
Netanya Trimboli
Along this 8.5 hour drive, we'll need to stop along the way to hit some playgrounds and food stops. This is my list of some options.
Oasis Family Farm, Banning Regional Park, Cowenton Ridge Park, Shawarma Palace, Betty Price Playground, Longo's Park Deli, Pine Ridge Park, New Castle Bagels, Penn Acres

This expansive park is really close to 95 and has a playground on the Middleboro Rd. side. The entrance is right a street on the left (coming from 95), right before it turns into Boxwood Rd. Lots of places to eat nearby.

This well-reviewed place is close to the playground and a nice change up from typical road trip food.

Betty Price Playground in Worcester, United States

Really close to the main road and has good reviews. This is just over two hours from our final destination and would be our last stop to stretch our legs.

Longo's Park Deli in New York, United States

It's a little farther off the main road than I would like, but it looks like a classic New York deli-style place to grab a sandwich. Highly rated on Google.

Pine Ridge Park in New York, United States

This looks like a fun playground that's not far off the main road. My goal is not to pull off the NJ Turnpike, and this is just after it.

New Castle Bagels in Delaware, United States

After we finish the park, this looks like a great spot to grab a breakfast sandwich. Has 4 stars and one $ sign on Yelp.

This place has a nice looking playground is just 6 minutes off the Jersey Turnpike.

If we decide to take a longer rest and have a fun activity for the kids, this looks like a great option. It's a farm, with a play area, ice cream, and other things to bring some excitement to a long car ride, and it's super close to the NJ Turnpike.
